On the evening of Thursday, January 26, the ASTD Valley of the Sun chapter sponsored a dinner and a personal development session facilitated by Jim “Mr. Energy” Smith, Jr. President/CEO, JIMPACT Enterprises. At this event, participants went through a 90 minute personal development session where they had the opportunity to:
- Analyze methods to be more effective, successful and purposeful, both personally and professionally, during today’s challenging times.
- Evaluate 16 factors that limit personal power and develop strategies for eliminating those factors that apply to them.
- Examine strategies and tools to bolster their training arsenal and audience engagement practices.
The Speaker also did a booksigning and offered some door prizes as follows:

- Copy of each of his books – signed
